about me

Hi, I'm Samreet 👋

I'm a physics postgraduate with a deep interest in the fundamental workings of the universe. My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD and contribute to our understanding of quantum gravity — the yet-to-be-unified bridge between quantum mechanics and general relativity.

My research interests span:

Alongside my academic journey, I love to code and simulate physical systems, building small models and tools to see equations come alive. I believe that computation is not just a support skill but a way of exploring physics creatively.

Outside of research, I write about science for a wider audience. I run Bohring , a popular physics newsletter on Substack where I break down complex ideas into engaging stories. My writing blends physics with science history, technology, and philosophy — because I believe science is not only about equations but also about how it shapes the way we think and live.

When I’m not buried in equations or drafting essays, I find joy in many hobbies: playing the piano, watching films, reading books, playing football and chess, and even solving puzzles like the Rubik’s Cube. They keep me curious and remind me that creativity flows in many forms.

At this stage in my career, I’m actively looking for research projects and PhD opportunities where I can learn, contribute, and grow. If my work or interests resonate with you, I’d love to connect.
